| About Dark Life |
Dark Life is a four-piece rock/metal band based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their music is radio-friendly and appeals to people of all ages. These talented musicians strive to make catchy tunes; songs that people won’t forget and will sing along to. They are a group of guys who share the same dream: Making a career out of their music. They have been on the Las Vegas circuit since June 2006 and truly enjoy playing live and meeting the fans after the shows. They are always working on new tracks. They love to record. Their lyrics are mostly based on personal experiences.
Each band member had been involved with other bands that didn’t work out for some reason or another, until the day Bryon and Steve, who had known each other for quite some time, and both been away from the stage for far too long, got together and decided to form a band, and Dark Life was born. They had a fire to get back on that stage, and quickly teamed up with Kevin and Norberto, who also have similar stories. Bryon, lead guitar, “Hopefully there will be one person out there who will want to take a chance on us and sign us, and we’ll prove to them that we can write songs and sell records that stand the test of time.”
Dark Life was awarded a "Gold Artist Award" for 2006 from Radio Gets Wild during a live interview. Their song "Mystified" was nominated for L.A Music Awards 2006 "Metal Single of the Year" by L.A. Music Online. They were priviledged to be a part of the fight against drunk driving by participating in the "Las Vegas Rockers For Life" Project.
They are looking to further promote their music with gigs around and outside Las Vegas, radio airplay on Radio Gets Wild and other Internet stations, local stations and national stations, and avenues such as Myspace. They will continue to give out CDs and other promotional material at gigs and to folks in the music industry.
