Always Strive for Excellence .......... As a young girl I knew I wanted to be in a position to help others, I was just not sure where I belonged. I wanted to be a dancer since I could remember. But, because of other interests and being raised by a single parent, that didn't happen until I got to college and joined the TSU Dance Troop. My mother believed in keeping my sister and I busy, she raised us as Catholics and was very active in our Church. I was a Brownie, Girl Scout, Cadet, Pom Pom Girl, a member of the American Legion Junior Auxiliary, a member of the YWCA, took Tai Kwan Do, modeled and played the piano and violin. After years of experience on different avenues, I pursued one of my goals and graduated from College with a degree in Sociology and Dental Hygiene. After working in the Dental field for 10 years and unforeseen circumstances I left Dentistry. I began with Iman Cosmetics because of the need to have a more flexible schedule, having no idea that I would remain there for 8 years and realized that one of the reasons I loved it as much as I loved Dentistry was because I was working with my hands and treating people and being able to help them smile.
I wanted to get back on track with the possibilities of more opportunities, so in September 2002, I relocated to Los Angeles, CA to hopefully return to Dentistry and to improve my makeup knowledge and performance by attending Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts. I have learned numerous tricks of the trade from bringing out ones natural beauty to avante garde, as well as beating, bruising, and cutting up individuals with special fx makeup. I have been very blessed to be able to do what I love, and love what I do. I Thank God and my Moma for that! Each day I am fortunate to cross the paths of new people and some of you have become very good friends. Thank you for that. I hope that whatever you are striving for, you are granted God's favor and you continue to live YOUR dreams. Till next time in myspace.
