About me:
I am extremely hard working and believe that being honest and truthful counts for something in life. I get my self-confidence from knowing that I always try to do what is right in life, and that ~I~ know that I am a good person. I am always up front with people about my feelings and expect the same from others. I take life one day at a time, and have been learning to surrender myself to the moments it brings me, ie. I have gone tandem skydiving on a whim and it was one of the most enjoyable and exciting moments of my life.
Who I'd like to meet:
Good natured, 'salt of the earth' (decent, dependable and unpretentious), positive, fun people to be around and of course, fellow free spirits.
The opening scene of the movie, The Million Dollar Hotel
"The heart is the sleeping beauty and love the only kiss it can't resist. Even as eyes lay open wide, there is a heart that sleeps inside, and it's to there you must be hastening, for all hearts dream, they dream only of awakening." - Nicholas Klein (From the movie, "The Million Dollar Hotel")
Happy Thanksgiving & Autumn Harvest from your favourite Layla!!! :) May you reap a bounty from all that you’ve sown this year, in body, spirit & relationships! ***big hugs!***
Hey Donna! It's a shame that we didn't catch up @ 930 Club! So what did you think of Sisters Of Mercy's gig? Anyhow...hope you're feeling better and that your wrist heals soon! Cheers! :-)
You broke your wrist??!! WTF??!! I was going to say sorry for being so out of it at the Sisters show but was I THAT out of it not to see your wrist? Damn, I'm sorry.
I haven't seen you in ages and would have loved to actually talk some but Christian really wanted to go. He hasn't been too social since the news of Louisa.
I'm sorry :-( I wasn't trying to be rude. Just distracted with alot of friends' sadness.
At least we hugged!!! LOL
Hope to see you soon.
BTW - I wasn't THAT blind to see that you still have that smile and looked VERY happy :-)
Oh ouch sweetie, sorry to hear about your broken wrist -- that really sucks!! I hope it heals up quickly!! Try to eat *fresh* pineapple, there is something in it that makes bone breaks heal up really quickly. :)
