Bible study and home improvement projects. I would like to learn to build a web page so that I can share the pieces that I have written. Well...I don't really write them - I simply get inspired during my quiet time in my Bible and the words just come. When I am done and read back over it, it is like someone else wrote it. It is quite an experience!Music

Above all, I love my Bible. Sometimes I just read it like it is a good book (no pun intended), but mostly, I spend time reading slowly, then stop to meditate on what I read. I search for meaning and what I learn, I apply to my life. I can find a message in almost everything I read in my Bible! If I haven't found a message, I move on because at that point, I know that the Lord has something else He wants me to read. On the secular side, I like old west stories about the settlers and any book about Civil War era. I think I was born out of time...LOL.Heroes
My Hero is my Husband. He is my best friend. My other Hero was my Dad.
Daddy went to be with the Lord 2/14/04. I miss him terribly. He was my Rock and my Counselor! My Mother molded my young life - she is not responsible for anything I did between my ages from 16 and 45. 
Mom went to be with the Lord 11/11/08 and I miss her very much. Two other people deserve to be called Hero: Johnny Mack Kinsaul, who was my 8th grade teacher AND my Sunday school teacher. Mr. Kinsaul awakened a desire to learn that lay dormant within me. My life before 8th grade is fuzzy. It is like I woke up, academically, in the 8th grade. The other person who, by the way, just happened to be in my life at the same time (GOD'S WORK?)was Opal Wolff. Mrs. Wolff FAITHFULLY came to our house on Sunday mornings to drive my sisters and me to church from 1960 to 1965.

I'm happily married and totally devoted to my Husband. I love my family. My daughters, Judy and Jackie are my special joy, as are the grandchildren. I have a passion for my Bible and often write Bible studies and/or inspirational pieces. My second love is home improvement projects. I am pretty much a solitary person... I make a terrible friend because my focus is on my husband, family and home. But, I am a fairly good casual friend. I prefer email to telephone chatter. I have no patience with needy people and if a needy person tries to attach themselves to me, I quickly detach.
