Music for listening, dancing, relaxing, working, partying, resting, dreaming, releasing, learning, motivating, entertaining, and escaping. All genres, most artists, most songs...even the music of nature. At this moment, it's Joshua Kadison. Add some Beatles, Billy Joel, Melissa Etheridge, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Gerry Rafferty. Mix in a little Elton John, Honeydrippers, and just a wee touch of John Mayer and Aerosmith. Top it all off with Ravel's Bolero and it will all be perfect.
Movies
Anything and everything Disney, especially animated. Give me a movie with Glenn Close or Nicolas Cage and I'm very happy. I love the old classics, too. Musicals, romantic comedies, and adventure films are great, too.
Television
The Amazing Race, Survivor, NCIS, Fringe, Three and a Half Men, and The Big Bang Theory are among my current favorites. Some favorites from the past are Will and Grace, Maude, Red Skelton Show, Burns and Allen, Little House On the Prairie, The Odd Couple, Rockford Files, The Honeymooners, The Mickey Mouse Club, and The Wonderful World of Disney. I also watch a lot of sports and some shows on Animal Planet, Food Network, National Geographic, and The History Channel.
Heroes
I am so fortunate to have someone like Edie in my life. She helps me to get through each day, to face life's challenges, and to try to do my best. She is my hero.
