    [deutsch] Disruptive Minds rocken seit 2005 die Bühnen des Landes. Den Musikstil der fünf Freunde aus dem östlichen Ruhrgebiet nennen sie selbst Punge-Rock, melodische Alternative-Rocksongs mit einer gewissen Punk-Attitüde, die durch die emotionale Stimme von Frontman Kol]a zu einer Einheit verschmelzen, Green Day treffen Nirvana & Rise Against. Ihr Debut-EP "whatever" wurde 2006 veröffentlicht und erhielt wiederholt positive Kritiken in den Medien (u.a. 1Live, Vainstream). Mittlerweile spielte die Band über 50 Shows im ganzen Bundesgebiet, auch bei großen Festivals wie z.B. Rock in den Ruinen in Dortmund-Hohensyburg. Die Band wurden u.a. zum Rewirpower Newcomer gewählt und erreichte den 3. Platz beim renommierten Bochumer Newcomer-Festival. Im Herbst 2008 folgte das Album "Made Of Scars" und im Frühjahr 2011 die aktuelle EP "The Line Of Fate", produziert u.a. in den bekannten Mohrmann-Studios (u.a. Juli, Sportfreunde Stiller). [english] Disruptive Minds from Dortmund, Germany played their first gig in 2005. The five friends came together to make music that is heavily influenced by early 90's alternative music like Green Day or Nirvana, especially the second coming of Punk. They describe their music as Punge-Rock, a reference to the Punk and Grunge-Music which first inspired them to form a band. Their debut EP „whatever" was released in 2006 and was well receiced by fans and media alike. In 2008 the band released their first full length album "Made Of Scars". Beneathe a dark vibe, it features 12 melodic based rocksongs with a Punk attitude, blended by the distinct emotional vocals of frontman Kol]a.
