..Julie Bergan (16), Stine Solvang (15) and Marthe Svarteberg (16) make up the pop / rock teen sensation DM revolution from Norway. D is for dance and M is for music. The trio delivers high-energy music wrapped up in complicated choreography and a lot of flips, flaw and fun!
They all met each other when they were picked out for a dance group called DM in 2007. Two years later the three girls started to sing and perform together.
.. Their first single It’s All About Love was released in September 2008, together with a bonus track called Not Okay. The producer Ronny Janssen (from Waterfalls Studios in Oslo) has also produced for Kylie Minogue and Sclub8. DM revolution (together with the dance group DM) has become one of the most popular tween groups in Norway. They have performed for thousands of people and have had shows at the Seaside Festival, Melodi Grand Prix, MiG gospel festival, Children’s Festival in Kragerø, New Generation Festival, Soul Children Festival in Oslo concert house and so on. DM revolution is in studio recording two new songs these days. .. The trio delivers a show with impressive acrobatic, complicated choreography, and professional music and singing. “We have practiced a lot to be able to sing, dance and do gymnastics at the same time” says Marthe. “But we love it! And the first thing we do when we get home from rehearsal is going outside the house doing flips and stuff.” .. .. The trio delivers a show with impressive acrobatic, complicated choreography, and professional music and singing. “We have practiced a lot to be able to sing, dance and do gymnastics at the same time” says Marthe. “But we love it! And the first thing we do when we get home from rehearsal is going outside the house doing flips and stuff.” .. ..
“Our songs are created to inspire and encourage. The music is very unlike other ‘teenpop’ genres, and a little more mature. It’s music that can appeal to all ages, but it’s high energy and geared to our impressionable younger generation,” says Julie describing the group’s music. .. “We feel so blessed to see that all our hard work pay off!” says Stine about the feedback the girls get from fans everyday.
More than 540.000 people have visited the group’s website, and they are currently number 11 on “tor artists” in Norway on Myspace. They receive fan mail almost daily from kids and youth all around Norway, and even from countries like Brazil, Japan, Denmark, Sweden, Australia, and France and USA. .. “The driving force of our group is the joy of dancing and singing, and that’s what we want to show the world. We try our best to be positive role models, and we want to encourage kids our age to live their dreams no matter how young or old they are. We really want to inspire kids through our dance and music. And if we can make a difference in someone’s life, the hard work is all worth it, and then that’s what we need to be doing.” .. DM revolution is not signed by a record label yet. They have received a few requests, but want to wait for the right label. So now they’re working really hard to make their biggest dream come true; to do a whole album and to travel around the world. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ........www.DM-revolution.com.. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... .... .. ................ .... ......
