Most people in life, including me, want things to be done right away. I will be honest with you all….I have no patience, but that is a virtue that I am seriously working on. I believe that with time and patience we can achieve what we truly want in life. For instance, I did not gain this weight overnight, so what makes me expect to lose it over night. So, what I am trying to say is give what you what to achieve in life time and patience it will come. Just think of it as the Universe is creating something so special for you that it is unreal. “You can’t be a winner and be afraid to lose ~ Charles Lynch.” Regardless of what you are trying to achieve in your life whether it be from losing weight, making an academic team, making a sport’s team, or even going up on the ladder of success, try to always remember this quote. Everyone fails and makes mistakes. Those failures and mistakes are stepping stones in our lives. We learn from failure daily. Think of this for a minute…. If being a winner were so easy, then there would be no form of competition in any areas of our lives, and to me that would be quite boring because I strive for competition. I will tell you from past experience….it is not easy, but whatever you do please do not be afraid. If you fail, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start walking forward and never ever look back. The back is the past…to be a winner you must look forward.
