    Tim Nork won Philadelphia STYLE Magazine's "Best of 2007" Hair Color and runner up for Best Hair Cut. Tim Nork was also featured on CBS 3 news. A detailed oriented stylist with a natural sense of style.

    6 years professional experience and a natural talent for hair. A hair tailor that is a perfectionist. Some people are born with it and Tim is one of them.

    Boasting more than 15 years of training experience in the hair industry and trained under Giovanni Mele owner of Giovanni & Pileggi. Tara possesses an edgy vision towards style. She quickly committed success and recognition with a loyal following.

    Her work is fast and perfect and she excels at color and cutting. She pushes the boundaries in cutting and styling and is versed in new products. Tara has a refreshing and positive outlook toward her work and strives for perfection each and every day.

    Rick Juliani has an ever growing passion for the beauty industry and says: “My deepest satisfaction comes from that client whose hair becomes an extension of their unique personal style. By listening and observing my client I can discern what they need from a cut and my work becomes a living piece of art”.

    His passion for transforming a client led him to his certification in Great Lengths Hair Extensions. Rick is currently giving luxurious hair to clients who desire a dramatic change. He is passionate about Great Lengths Hair Extensions since it can give volume, length, and highlights safely to all types of hair. “Hair extensions give my clients 100% immediate gratification…I like that”.

    Celebrity Makeup Artist: Michael Pierce

    Michael Pierce, LORAC Cosmetics’ International Makeup Artist, has had a passion for makeup since his first exposure to it in his sixth grade theatre group, and has successfully translated the love into a career with the nationally recognized and revered LORAC Cosmetics Brand. During his 10 years in the beauty industry, Michael has had one goal in mind: to help every woman value her own individual beauty. “Makeup is not about making someone over, but rather revealing their natural beauty and enhancing their best assets,” says Pierce.

    From an early age, Michael has always had a love for art. Growing up in San Francisco, he was always fascinated with the fashion industry and began working as a makeup artist with top artists like Carol Shaw of LORAC Cosmetics.

    Michael’s credits include the Academy Awards, VH1 Divas, QVC and numerous fashion shows and magazines. Pierce is also an integral member of the LORAC product development team, working with LORAC Cosmetics founder Carol Shaw to help create and test innovative new products that fit the LORAC philosophy.

    Michael Pierce, Hourglass Cosmetics’ national makeup artist & trainer, has had a passion for makeup since his first exposure to it in his sixth grade theatre group, and has successfully translated this love into a career helping women to recognize and enhance their own individual beauty.

    From an early age, Michael has always had a love for art. Growing up in San Francisco, he was fascinated with the fashion industry and began working as a makeup artist at LORAC Cosmetics. During his ten-year tenure at LORAC, he served as their international makeup artist and as the featured face for the brand on QVC.

    In October 2007, Pierce joined Carisa Janes and the team at Hourglass Cosmetics. In his role as national makeup artist & trainer, Pierce is the featured artist for special events and product training sessions.

    Michael’s credits include the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, New York Fashion Week, VH1 Divas Live, QVC and numerous magazine shoots. Although creating beauty looks for the runways and red carpets are creatively invigorating for Pierce, he believes that interpreting those looks into something wearable for women in the “real world” is most rewarding. It is in the adaptation that Michael Pierce’s talents truly shine.

    COMPANY HISTORY | BIOGRAPHY

    The "science" of beautiful hair is the underlying inspiration of DnA Salon, located at 1030 North American Street in Philadelphia. The sleek-boutique salon opened its doors on February 7, 2006 as the premiere salon in Liberties Walk, an open air shopping/dining destination in the city's most talked about "cool" new neighborhood.

    The signature service at DnA is scalp analysis and treatment. The entire staff has been trained to examine and diagnose scalp health a much overlooked segment of haircare that is truly the basis of beautiful hair. DnA uses Davines of Italy in all of their services, a very high quality product that addresses the scalp as well as the hair. "The idea of treating the scalp is almost nonexistent in the salon industry today and yet without a healthy scalp it is a real challenge to give someone gorgeous hair DnA fills this need,". Scalp treatments run the gamut from Nourishing to Rebalancing to Stress Relieving and everything in between.
