I am a music lover who believes I need the "guitar" to live and breathe.
Whether it is surrounding myself with guitars, strumming them, or falling into the sounds of creative minds that allow me the honor of listening, it is something I can not live without.
Truth is, my heart really does have strings.
I am fascinated with penny arcade machines, mutoscopes, kinetoscopes, and the old souls living within them.
Aside from Bulgaria, my favorite place to be is, the Musee Mechanique at pier 45 on the Wharf in San Francisco.
I enjoy reading poetry, although there has been very few times I have attempted this myself.
I love history, pre-history, ancient history and all of its remains.
I feel close to home when I smell the scent of wet stones and salts of the earth and the treasures therein.
Which may be why I am attracted to clay, sculpting, the human figure, geometric shapes and the idea that most everything that survived the last civilizations was made of water & dust.
I am a spiritual person and appreciate many different perspectives on topics of religion, although I would not say I am religious.
I love magic, puzzles, cyphers and cryptic messages, stargazing, happy faces, ocean foam, bubbles and bubblebaths...
Children of the highest will love their enemies, they will do good, and lend expecting nothing in return, they are kind to the unthankful and to the evil. They will never seek revenge upon those who have done them wrong. Yes, they are at war! Their fight is not with people. The fight is against the leaders and the powers and the spirits of darkness in this world. The fight is against the demon world that works in the heavens (firmament, space). They are armed with truth. They are the boss of their own mind. They let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, they esteem others better than themselves, they look out not only for their own interests, but also for the interests of others.
(I compiled what is written above from various scriptures in The Holy Bible)

WHO AM I
BY
Carl Sandburg
MY head knocks against the stars.
My feet are on the hilltops.
My finger-tips are in the valleys and shores of
universal life.
Down in the sounding foam of primal things I
reach my hands and play with pebbles of
destiny.
I have been to hell and back many times.
I know all about heaven, for I have talked with God.
I dabble in the blood and guts of the terrible.
I know the passionate seizure of beauty
And the marvelous rebellion of man at all signs
reading "Keep Off."
My name is Truth and I am the most elusive captive
in the universe.
IF
by Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

I wonder why a yawning wolf would make you think of me! lol
I think that one day I'll have to go to a wolf sanctuary.
I am feeling a great deal better. A good thing, as friends of mine are performing on monday evening, and I've planned to go to a park (to see trees, of course) with a friend on wednesday. Photo opportunities.
My computer is very troublesome at the moment. Firefox freezes and crashes too often for my taste. Gonna have to try and fix it tomorrow.
I hope your weekend is great!

I decided that really I wanted to finish reading the Zombie Survival Guide! So there is a copy on its way to me now. I have been so exhausted lately that I actually had to cancel my performance yesterday. Feeling only tired today. I hope you're doing great, have a fabulous week! *hugs* W.
