Formed in the depths of a basement in late 2005 DND are sonically adventurous band playing their own brand of Alt-Rock. Hailing from their hometown of Bradford the bands aim is simple - write great songs and take them on to the live circuit.
For a band not yet out of their teens DND have one trait, potential. In the bands short career they have an impressive list of achievements, winning the 2006 Musicians Centre battle of the bands, BBC Look North’s search for a band (June 07) and XFM’s Unsigned band of the month (July 07). DND have received airplay from Kerrang Radio, XFM, BBC Raw Talent, Radio Aire, BCB & Ramair aswell as TV coverage from the BBC. The bands wall of sound live show has received some great press : ‘Immense’ The Fly. ‘I honestly felt privileged to see them, like this was an intimate warm up gig before Wembley Arena. See them live. Now. 9.5/10.’ Frantic Corduroy.
Having already played big gigs such as the O2 Wireless Festival, Bradford’s St George’s Hall & Manchester’s Great Northern Amphitheatre in conjunction with BT Digital Music Awards the band are building up a strong local following with both eyes firmly on the future. New track ‘Ideals In Progress’ is the most full on, anthemic song the band have recorded to date. This year could well be their year… 'A fine example of British rock music at its best. DND may just play an important part in the British music scene in the not too distant future.' by LeedsMusicScene.co.uk

Currently Sweden's hottest export, THOSE DANCING DAYS combine "Sweet as apple-pie pop" with a devilishly sassy Northern Soul and it's this unique combination that has the got the whole of the UK falling over itself and for good reason too!
The subtle dynamics in their songwriting of JOHN and JEHN and the balance between chaos and beauty and the mastery of heartbreaking melodies Expect beautifully skewed hymns in the key of Serge Gainsbourg. http://www. myspace. com/johnjehn
Wakefield's THE RESEARCH are makers of fun, but also write songs that are like punches in the stomach that knock the wind out of you but afterwards you agree that you feel much better for it. www. myspace. com/theresearch
