About me:
| Overview |
SpellBinder is an RPG game, made using Rpg Maker 2000, which allows the player to do whatever he wants. Instead of the game being
linear and the player has to follow the main quest, in SpellBinder the player gets to do what you want. If you wish to spend all your
time mining and smithing, you may. If you wish to do side quests for people, you may. You can join a cult, if you wish. Or if you do
enjoy the linear games, you can do the main quest too! |
| The Story |
You take on the roll of Nereviar, a much favoured adventurer of a small town called Mandaville. He and his best friend, Hobberus,
have always wished to become part of the Templars of Steel, and when the Templars begin to recruit, Nereviar and Hobberus can not
wait to sign up. But simple assignments for the Templars send them into the arms of a once-thought-extinct group called the SpellBinders,
who use the very essence of souls to bind powerful magics to items. Their journey will take them all over the world, and beyond... |

Rpg Maker 2000 RTP
If you have not downloaded SpellBinder or Rpg Maker 2000 RTP before 19th Of April 2008, then you will need to download the RTP.
It contains all the basic resources. I've stopped including them to the decrease file size.
SpellBinder 3.0 Main Game Zip File (8.5MB) download.
It does not include the new aditions to later patches. You must download this, unzip it and install it. Then download the patch.
SpellBinder 3.2 Patch Zip File (1.3MB) download.
It does not include all of the files to play SpellBinder. It does, however, contain all the previous patches.
To patch a previous version, download the zip and extract it to the same folder you installed SpellBinder to.
If it asks to overwrite files, click yes. |

you then have to go back to yourself and press the use key to reel them in!

* Reputation. Do good things, and people will like you. But do evil things, and they may stop talking to you.

| Known Bugs and Fixes |
Bug: When going outside, the screen goes black and stays black.
Fix: Simply enter the menu, and go back into the game. Also, report the bug to me and include what (in game) time it happened.
Bug: The songs in the music player aren't in alphabetical order!
Fix: I will be adding new songs to SB all the time, and I cant just "insert" the song to the order, it takes alot of change to the code. Thus, I wont' do it every time a new song comes in. So all new songs end up at the end.
