Welcome … take a tour of my site, and please feel at home as you may or may not know, I’ve been signing since the early 60’s, while I was in college. The very first song, A Tender Doo-Wap Ode written for my very shapely Biology teacher was Titled “Cry A Little Cry”. Since then I’ve made several Albums, written a ton of songs, and had the enormous luck to have had some of my compositions sung by artists such as Freddy McGregor, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Ken Boothe and “Ally” the lead singer of UB-40. Recently, I gave my heart to Jesus and now have added songs to and about HIM to my repertoire. I do not take the fact that you are visiting this site lightly and I trust that you will allow me to express myself freely, inviting you to my concerts, encouraging you to purchase my CD’s and just keeping informed as to what’s up with me. Tomorrow You have listened to his testimony on "those days are gone" his first album on cd baby. Here dobby continues to sing about his love affair with Jesus. There's deep sadness that will move the listener to tears on "tomorrow" and even deeper despair as he remembers his mother on "tears in heaven", theres marvel and devotion and awe in "wonderful world" and there is rip roaring gospel singing in his Jesus medleys 1 and 2. It is, however, when he cries "why me lord", that the baring of his heart is seen, stripped of all facades and pretensions. Dobby Dobson is a gifted artist who uses revolutionary techniques to get the young and the "old" jumping for JESUS. The message conveyed in the songs are biblically sound, and there is a great mixture of style and beats. This CD has wonderful songs, and it's absolutely recommendable.
