About me: I protect my owners, I fetch ball, play in agility, obedience, tracking, conformation, flyball, dance, therapy, seeing eye, mobility assistance, hearing dog, I just like to be with my owner and make them happy!
I come in four colors - black, red, blue, and fawn. If I'm a boy, I can be anywhere between 26 - 28" tall; if I'm a girl, I'm about 24 - 26". It's best if I have dark almond shaped eyes, and nice round heavy bone, because I'm a working dog.
My offical club, the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, is celebrating me being in the U.S. for 100 years this year. I hope you can join the celebration! Check out the official website at http://dpca.org/faithful
Who I'd like to meet: If you have a hand to pet me, I'd love to meet you!
I'd like to meet as many Doberman owners at our Centennial celebration on 10/16/2008.
On October 15, 2008 at the DPCA's National Dog Show in Topeka, Kansas, WWII War Dog Handlers arrived to hundreds of Dobermans and their owners. 2008 marks the 100 year anniversary of the Doberman Pinscher dog in the United States. There was no more appropriate time to honor the war dog handlers than now, as we celebrate a Century of Devotion
