   Brad's Blurbs
About me:
I am a National Master at chess and a member of Mensa. I am a global warming and biological weapons internet activist. Soon we can expect both abrupt climate change and a bioterrorist pandemic. This is an outrageous and preposterous claim, but read my blog for convincing evidence (blog started August 23, 2007). The genomic revolution is pushing biotechnology into an explosive growth phase. The Tree of Life is dual-use for good or evil. The good news is that we can engineer an organism that will remove the CO2 from the air, thereby saving billions of lives and trillions of dollars, or fourth generation fuel production, where compressed CO2 is converted to natural gas using a GMO. The bad news is that individuals can now construct highly contagious extremely lethal virus, and start bioterrorist pandemics, thereby costing billions of lives and trillions of dollars. Authorities underestimated how relatively easy constructing a highly contagious, extremely lethal virus can be. Pandemic is the antithesis of globalization. By the way, my lead photo is methane hydrate on fire. There is more carbon in methane trapped in ice than in oil, natural gas, and coal put together. Unfortunately, the hydrate ice needs only to melt to release the methane (CH4) into the air, whereas oil, natural gas, and coal have to be burned to emit CO2 into the air. CH4 is about 70 times more powerful a greenhouse gas as CO2 over 20 years. If even a small fraction of methane hydrate was to melt, it would greatly accelerate global warming. Finally, there is a cheap and simple way to immediately cool down the Earth: just add a little sun dimming aerosol to the upper atmosphere. Within a couple of decades record high temperatures will cause the routine failure of non-irrigated crops, leading to famine and widespread civil unrest/regime instability. Either we utilize geoengineering or suffer a massive natural cull.
Who I'd like to meet:
Supporters in general, but specifically a patron that can help me advocate for solutions to global warming. Biosequestration can save billions of lives and trillions of dollars. It is low cost, highly scalable, and technically feasible. By the way, we will have to temporarily put a sun dimming aerosol into the upper atmosphere to avoid rapid ecosystem collapse.

Very interesting article you have Brad on G. roseum and I look forward to reading more about this fungus. I've read that algae is also a great alternative but there does not seem to be much discussion of it in the media.
