Thanks for the kind words Johnny. I really am proud of my collection and it's nice to find that there's other who have a passion for tobacciana. As for where it was purchased,I've always been a flea market and tag sale guy. Quite a few items have been found on the cheap from such venues. Also of course there's E-Bay which has become like the holy chapel of odd things. You can find almost anything you want there over the course of a year or two. Then about three months ago I purchased a good amount of items from the estate of a friend who was forced to substantially down size. From him I bought many jars, advetising items and books/catalogs. The easiest way to answer your question is that I'M ALWAYS BUYING this kind of stuff. My afvice to someone who wants to start collecting is to start hitting flea markets, tag sales and junk shops. The owner of these items usually has NO idea what they're worth! I've bought at least a dozen Dunhill pipes at $5.00 ea this way...Ya gotta just go out looking! The stuff's out there!
Hell ya man, cleaned and smoked every one of them, besides that GBD without the stem. And you'l be glad to know i got all the stuff home in one peace including the hanging cabinet my god i looked like a fool on the highway but it was worth it thank again for all that Dock, hopefully ill see you at Gutz cookout.
