About me:
I play guitar for the Mojo Gurus. Our new CD, Let's Get Lit with...the Mojo Gurus is now available through our website www.mojogurus.com . We play real Rock and Roll, sweaty, Bluesy, swampy, greasy Rock and Roll, with a heaping helping of twang. The band profile is number one in my Top Friends, go there, listen, add the band...
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
“Kevin Steele writes original songs that have a great respect for the real meaning of roots-rock rhythm & blues - and fronts a band that plays like they have perpetual hard-ons. I think they call it rock n' roll, last I checked...” - Roger Kash, Director of A&R, Empire Musicwerks
Who I'd like to meet: Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Jeff Beck, Marc Ford
For
Those of you
who don't know, this yr I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and then
thyroid cancer. I survived both, they ripped me apart from the groin up,
then took my hair, took a yr of my life, there was a scare I would
never sing again, because they had to operate on my throat, remove my
thyroid gland, and lymph node...s
do a neck resection, the cancer was attached to my trachea. For 6 wks I
couldn't make pitch or range, my band never gave up on me, GOD never
gave up on me. I am singing in his house fri night nov 13th at Calvary
Church in winter park, fla it will be televised for airing in Dec, 6000
capacity in the church. He gave me my voice and now i use it to
make a lot of noise for breast cancer awareness, charity, our military,

The Mojo Gurus show at Dave's Saturday night was killer. You guys ROCK!! Best band in town. I love that straight in your face rock n roll with a blues flare that you guys have. Awesome guitar licks, Kevin's vocals are stronger than ever, Vinnie's bass playing is out of this world (I'd compare him to Pete Way) with a lot of charisma to boot, and Mark's drums were so "on" and thunderous. What can I say, the Mojo Gurus kicks ass!
