Del Smith Penny - Guitar & Vocals Del is a guitar and bass player, singer, composer, recording engineer, producer of other people's music, and all around studio rat. He didn't start playing music seriously until he turned 40, but made up for it by becoming an unabashed musical slut since then (ask anybody who knows him ;-). He makes his living hanging around with geniuses and remembering things for them. If you want the long version, you can get the whole story at www.myspace.com/delsmithpenny. Ken Peters - Drums....Doc Roc lives as alias Kenneth Peters when he is not drumming with the Disorderlies. Born on Veterans Day, 1949 on the South Side of Chicago he started his musical training at age 13 playing piano. After two years of utter failure his teacher informed his parents that Ken tended to bang on the keys with good rhythm and recommended he take up percussion. At age 15 he began drum lessons. He idolized Gene Krupa and Ringo Starr. He played drums in a local high school rock and roll band and since then has played in over twenty bands, some lasting only a few days. He enjoys his day job as a real doctor of internal medicine and lives with his three sons in Los Altos Hills, California. His goal in life is to be on the covers of Rolling Stone Magazine and The New England Journal of Medicine the same week. Robert Hill - Guitar & Vocals Rob is a struggling musician completely mired in the past; he hasn't listened to any new music in more than twenty years. He spends more time mucking with his gear than actually playing it. He is difficult to get along with and generally annoys all people within a 50 foot radius. He loves to perform live. Steve Ott - Bass Steve grew up in San Jose CA during the 70's. He began playing the bass during elementary school as a means to get out of history class, but it wasn't until he received his first bass on his 18th birthday that his passion was fully ignited. Soon he was playing in a high school rock band performing at school events and local parties. And he never stopped. Want more Steve? http://www.myspace.com/DoWackaDo.

Meet Doc Roc & the Disorderlies

Back at Al Scopps again, their 20th Anniversary bash, August 14, 2010...
Doc Roc & the Disorderlies have been hiding out in the Los Altos hills for a couple of years crafting a unique blend of classic rock and blues covers mixed with catchy originals that you leave the party humming to yourself. Now they're lighting up stages across the Bay Area, inciting dancing frenzies and torrid fist-pumping crowds calling out for one more song before they go. If you're looking for a band that entertains, and people that you would want to have at your party anyway, you've come to the right place. An email to ridgetop2@comcast.net will get the party started!
