Bizarre is influenced by everything including jazz, fusion, classical, funk, punk, blues, disco, metal, industrial, rock, swing, rockabilly, roots, old country, oldies, bluegrass, ska, electronica, new age and techno. The doctor gains his inspiration from science fiction, 1950's sub culture, pin-up girls, porn stars, horror, comic books, interplanetary space, martinis, hotrods, psychos, moonshine as well as good old hops and barley.
Doctor Bizarre is an independent musician and guitar virtuoso with a flare for a unique sound that is imaginative, colorful and eccentric. Blessed with an agile mind Bizarre embraces astoundingly diverse styles of music. Experimentalism is his methodology, music and guitar are his weapon. He is not your typical guitar player. His goal, in fact, is to make you forget that he plays guitar and sink deep into the soulful passion of the music.
Bizarre thrives on breaking the boundaries and exploring new sonic avenues by collaborating with talented musicians across the globe. He spends a lot of time in his studio just toying around with different sounds and effects. He is not only compelling for what he plays, but for how he plays it. While some guitar players use racks of gear to create sounds and effects, Bizarre prefers a simplistic natural approach that emphasizes manual dexterity over gadgets. He studied jazz guitar for several years with Carmen Carmonica, an accomplished jazz musician out of New York who was the former arranger and guitarist for the Lou Rawls Band.
Bizarre started his career by exploring jazz and the heavier side of rock before switching gears and becoming increasingly interested in the possibilities of electronic music fused with roots, rock, punk, metal, funk, techno and fusion elements. Bizarre also sings, plays bass, mandolin, keyboard, percussion, programs drums and creates strange effects. His musical outlet varies in styles and incorporates a soundtrack based theme ranging in diverse styles catering to a plethora of audiences.
Doctor Bizarre has released a solo CD entitled "Blasphemous Cacophony" that is available at the CD BABY link on this page or you can also buy each individual song above. The innovative guitarist promises a compilation that reflects the eclectic musical mix that shines as his trademark. Music is the passion of life and an expression of ones self, so hop on the Bizarre train and enjoy the ride. Pick up a copy of the latest release entitled "Blasphemous Cacophony" and enjoy getting your face rocked off.

Chad, Did you make it to the Testament show 5 hours ago?? It kicked ass...andy and I even smoked one with Greg Christian, the bass player after the show. We B.S'd with Skolnick as well. I hope you made it to the show. Talk to you later....Dave K.
Me and a co-worker were having an argument. He was claiming that he is true perfection. Mostly in jest but in a sense he believes he is. He always thinks he is right, etc. I made the claim that 50 percent would be perfect as it is the medium between perfect and imperfect and we live in a virtually natural distribution.
This made me think of a concept. 50% is the medium between 100 and 0. Take the medium of those two numbers and you get 75. Now take the medium between 50 and 75 and get 62.5. Take the medium between 62.5 and 75 and get 68.75. Again, 68.75 and 62.5 to get 65.625. Again, 65.625 and 68.75 to get 67.1875.
Alternate between the higher or lower number from the previous time with the medium for your next step. Again, 67.1875 and 65.625 and get 66.40625. Again 66.40625 and 67.1875 and get 66.796
