During the WGA strike Joss Whedon started writing a three part musical series for the internet. Each of the three episodes will be approximately ten minutes each.

Co-writers for the internet feature are Joss’ brothers Zack and Jed and Jed’s Fiancé Maurissa Tancharoen . The writing and shooting have been completed and the series is now in post-production.

It’s the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to.’ says Whedon. ‘Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog’ will star Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer, Felicia Day as Penny and a cast of dozens.’

Dr. Horrible comes to brick and mortar stores!

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog DVD was released to (non-Amazon) retailers today. Best Buy brick and mortar stores have it. Anyone seen it elsewhere?

I checked one Target and one Wal-Mart. No luck. It wasn't in the new release section at Best Buy. I found it in the TV section under D. When I left they had one less and there were some in the new release section, the TV section under D and the musical section.

Serenity on SciFi 1/3/2009! Also SciFi HD! 9 pm EST.

This is the first time Joss Whedon's Serenity has been shown on anything besides a pay cable channel.

Also the normal Sci-Fi Saturday movie crowd is going to be blown away!

So be ready online and not online. You might suddenly get a lot of what was that? What do you mean have you seen the TV series? Firefly? You know the usual.
