   About Doctor Memory
DOCTOR MEMORY is a running joke amongst a group of old friends. It stems from the brilliant writing of The Firesign Theatre. That name, given to a recording computer, has subsequently become personified to composer / guitarist Marlon Kempmann. (Isn't life just like that?) Having played in various gigging bands (Starblanket - Making Big Pictures - House of Giants), MK was also a member of the CYBERMONKEY recording project. In 2005, MK was invited by ANUBIS SPIRE to work and play on their stellar CHILDREN OF A FOREIGN FAITH cd. As well as recording solo works, DOCTOR MEMORY collaborates with several SoundClick musicians. They say that the musical stylings of Habib Al-Faez (bass player for THE MOTHER FAKIRS) are strikingly similar to MK's. But then again, that's just the type of thing they would say. Isn't it?

I have been doing some recording in the studio for some local-Rap-Kids...Kinda fun. Have everything out there now..:) Nice to have a work-space. Getting to play out alot. got a gig friday night. So , things are OK here. Hards time mate..:( Money is short. What kind of Bass is that?? looks sweet!

Thanks for the birthday wishes mate. Carol's been busy fighting a Trojan malware rogue security software program which invaded her space. Too new for Norton to have a fix for yet, so it may be awhile before you hear back from her on your home messages. No snow here, just white sand dunes. You should plan a visit someday.

What's up? Life way down here on the Redneck Riviera has finally settled back down (at least for a couple of days). So wanted to take advantage of it while I can...been getting some needed Zzzz after spending the day digging for shells at the now deserted beaches :) Found some awesome ones to glue on a giant X-mas wreath I'm creating. Even got lucky and found a shark's tooth. Hope all is well and you have a great weekend!

Hi Master of Memories~

How are you...working your arse off, as usual? Any new 'axiom axes' creations?

Check out the pic taken last weekend at the Robert Calvert tribute gig of Jollyhawker with Nik Turner and Alan Davey (in his latest album), when you get a spare moment.

Thanks for all the smiles (I DO read them, honest)...been turbulent atmospheric conditions in my mind the past couple of weeks. Brainstorms...with a few lightning zaps :) Have started work on CD #2 with all female "leads"...vs. the 'forefathers' CD. It seems to be coming together very fast.
Bridget Wishart and Don Falcone already have their contribution done! Am working on the list and will send it shortly.

I was doing some research work for Dr. Karl Seigfried and Alan Davey, and 'stumbled' across the following link which I thought you might like to see http://www.teslasociety.com/

At least half are done and are sending them..and Frank(Hensel3000) is going to get started on Kepler as soon as they launch the new MyOuterSpace 3 CD at month-end ;') I may schedule my live radio interview with the Hawke Master after his trip to the USA in Sept. (grin).

Bill wanted me to thank you for the cool RWG picture you sent and especially for wearing that GREAT LOOKING tee-shirt in it! (: I've been trying to get Bill back on line but he's the most stubborn highland PITA when he wants to be, that it's been a real chore. I even wrote to JP and he wrote and told him to get going on the music but so far he's still dragging his feet. I will get him over here to answer his friend's mail even if I have to kidnap him. (:

Re your Bizarro rumination of the day Marlon, Ha, Ha, Ha! Being a poor nobody isn't so bad from that perspective...and I just shared your latest Cat in the Hat puzzle with Bill. Told him it reminded me of his 'scrambled brains and bacon' on a plate (LOL)!

Gustav is gone...and we're all breathing a big sigh of relief...until the next time (aarrgghh)!
