{:} jam in the hallway of CoSM 11.25.06 (my 23rd birthday) with the beautiful and incredibly talented musician, Thoth. along with myself, there was another person hand drumming, and a lovely lady joined in the singing near the end. It was an amazing birthday present playing with Thoth, one which I will not forget. CoSM also started having DJs in the hallway shortly after that event.
{:} matt and i again... only this time i'm drunk. a rare occasion, but thoroughly enjoyed.
{:} this is one of the most recent in an ongoing series of improvised sessions with my good friend matt. we dont always see eye to eye, but i sure love playin music with him.
{:} OUM is the first draft of my first full original composition. i would love to extend it and incorporate some sort of orchestral arrangement with it, i just didnt have enough time for anything close to that. it was the final project for a class with Paul Lehrman during my last semester of school and i had other "real work" to take care of... and i know the end is a bit sloppy, but there were some tempo conversion issues during recording that i didnt have time to fix either. special thanks to paul laffoley for an unforgettable conversation.
{:} chamber of commerce is matt and i experimenting with live electronics for the first time in our top secret soundlab under the guise of port au bella, although we are generally going for a more polished sound.
{:} this medley is from the spontaneous creation of the group shit moccasins on new years 2007, featuring fred and anthony of lost cat, found and is mostly unedited, except for the removal of a few mistrials and a lot of laughing between songs... i edited it a bit more, so if you are someone that cares, add about 20 listens to whatever the number says, although most of them are probably me. lame. whatever. something also possibly noteworthy is that it was recorded onto a mini casette tape.
{:} the last was a jam with lenny paul (of monolith) and some of his family and friends. it occurred in the presence of my partner the faery king and was my first attempt at a live mic setup, so let me know what you think, if youre so inclined.

So it came to my attention today whilst walking around in bed, that way too many humans are under the grossly mistaken impression that the purpose of a camels hump is to store food and water. I understand the deductive reasoning behind this, i truly do... but then, logically it is psyically impossible for a bumble bee to fly and an aligotor is more green than it is long... (for those of you that havn't given this much thought [and you know who you are] an aligator is only long in one direction it is green all over)... so anyway, back to humping camels... the hump of a camel is not a refrigerator nor a pantry for non-perishables... I will rectify this misunderstanding... a camels hump is actually a highly evolved defense mechanism known as "camelflague" (the "flague" is spoken frenchly/frenchish) So anyway... to evade its natural predators in the wild, the camel has developed this "flague" to blend in with pyramids... so when a large vulture sees a camel on the horizon, it is all like "hey... is that a camel? perhaps I should wait here for it to die... but then it might be a pyramid, in which case i will be here waiting for a very long time so i had better not" thusly, the camel evades its natural predator, the impatient desert vulture... unlike verry and very,I always know how to spell desrt correctly when used in a sentence, because dessert has two s's in case you want seconds... thank you for your time, sincerely, Jayel Draco
