doctorsoba is an alternative folk/rock band fronted by sisters Kay and myself, Kim Radzik. Typically seen playing an accoustic duo we have been known to feature great local musicians such as David Newman, Gia Torcaso, Christy Cranmer, and Asa Dakin when we've gone full band. (who really "doctor" up our music thank you!) I play rhythmn and lead guitar and do some vocals, but no comparision to my sister wit da pipes, Kay, who sings lead and plays rhythmn guitar. we both just love and adore our inspired/ing friends who move us to do this and have so much fun! and Lots O Fun has been had by all at every ds show. love you guys!
since the last show kay's been digging big holes and playing with big a$$ rocks while remodeling her house and I've been doin school and crazin a little on my house too! still finding time to hang with the most wonderful real people and feelin the grace with every moment of it! squeezed in Burning Man too (still tryin to get my seester to go sometime!)...now with the winter coming I feel like snuggling in with a guitar or two...
so why doctorsoba you may ask...well, being half Japanese we have an affection for our Mom's soba noodles, but being the lamos that we are, since we don't make it, what do we do? we "doctor" up our Top Ramen noodles! I'm sure you all have done it! But mmmM! Just like Mom's (not!) thus doctorsoba.
miss kimmieee aka "noodles"..it was so much fun kickin it with my soba sis today..and, your new girlie jace is hella down to earth..LOVE HER! i told kev about kickin with you minus the gigs just to PARTAY..and, he's so down. can't wait! yeeeee!
