Hello, I'm Doctor Sparkles. I sing and play a few instruments, my favorite being the ukulele, and host a monthly ukulele cabaret open mic in San Francisco called the Jumping Flea Circus. I'm prone to thinking re-creatively, and given that is against my religion to take anything seriously, not the least of which my religion, I am a bit silly. I've recorded a few albums on my ukuleles, the first of which, Sail Away, won a few awards. One reviewer called it a "pseudo-psychedelic, island breezy, folky, Latin influenced ferris wheel ride for the child within."
