Influences
Doctor Strange: I came up on Rakim, Kane, Kool G Rap, Slick Rick, De La Soul, Bizmark, Run DMC, UltraMagnetic M.C's, EPMD, JVC Force, Public Enemy and my original crew from C.I. The Invisible Men. I was also deeply inspired by KRS-One. He once heard me spit early on and told me it was in my future to be an Emcee, and never stop till I get out there - that meant a lot. I also think being around each other (The Lenzmen) is a great inspiration. When we hear each other buss, it always provides inspiration to step up.
Sounds Like
Review excerpt from Chronic Magazine: New York based sci-fi Hip-Hop makes a return with the four-man outfit The Lenzmen and their latest journey into the unknown. Sounding like a head-on collision between Kool Keith, MF Doom and Company Flow the progressive sound of The Lenzmen flips between highly lyrical wordplay and space-age interludes designed to tie the whole affair together. Geared to the lyrically minded this album will most likely sit best with the headphone-rocking crowd who are happy to soak up the dense wordplay directly. The experimental nature of tracks such as ‘Clear The Way,’ ‘Battle Planet Story,’ ‘Residue’ and ‘Hybrid Higher Dictions’ are sure to find as many detractors as they do fans, but this album is certain to create an almost fanatical following amongst those who catch onto it’s science fiction based feel. Overall fans of underground independent labels may want to check this, while those more accustomed to the mainstream sounds of the likes of The Game may well find this album one step too far. With 24 tracks (plus some bonuses including a few good freestyles) this album will either come across as value for money or simply tiring – depending on your stance on their style. -DJ Slim
Review excerpt from Working Beats.com:Masterpiece:
"Lenzmen are a force within the force. This track does exactly what it says on the tin. What is this? This is a masterpiece...."
Higher Dictions:"Our personal favorite track from this astounding artist. The Lenzmen are a force to be reckoned with. A sinister addition to your ipod collection and another journey into Hip Hop deep and dark."
110 cosmic Transmission:
"A dark and experimental journey into Hip Hop. A distinctly digital flava and some cutting lyrical jediness is ever present in this single from the album 'Scientific Community and Magnify Lenz'".
Review excerpt from Know the ledge.net:Jonah Wyn Pugh - Know The Ledge.net:
The Lenzmen - Magnify Lenz and Scientific Community:
"This album opens well and gives you the impression that the rest of the album is going to follow suit. But this being a special album, consisting of two albums combined, and the opening tracks so strong, it was always going to be a hard act to follow. The four MCs - Dynamics Plus, Doctor Strange, Centri and Earthadox - come across less as rappers and more as inter galactic beat poets; slam champions that have realized how much more they can be when laced by hyper-intelligent instrumentals. They are captivating in their effortless give and take, and you know you are listening to people that have studied not only those that have gone before them, but also their own vision of where music needs to go. Being from New York City, you can hear familiar intonations, like a refined Beastie Boys, but the rhyming patterns and instrumentals are so diverse that any semblance is purely in soul and not in theft. It seems fatuous to single out any particular tracks, but for the benefit of those who aren't lucky enough to have their own copy, the fourth track Masterpiece stands out, as does the fifth, 110 Cosmic Transmission; the seventh track Clear the Way is equally sick for different reasons. In fact, enough has been said. The whole album is so good that this writer advises you to get hold of it any way you can."

THE INSIGHT LENZ
DOCTOR STRANGE: REPLACEMENT HOST FOR DAWN-C WHEN SHE STARTED HER 3RD RAIL RADIO SHOW. ORIGINAL MEMBER OF THE RAP GROUP BLIND CHEMISTRY. FEATURED ON MIX TAPES AND RADIO MIXES BEFORE FORMING THE LENZMEN.
ALIAS:CHEMICAL ALI AND THE HYBRID.
Doc Strange hails from Central Islip, New York; the home of pioneers like JVC Force, K-Solo, EPMD, Craig Mack and Hip Hop artists like Keith Murray/L.O.D and Blu Warta. The lyrical skill of Doctor Srange will continue the 'flowmeister' tradition and use the scientific platform of the Lenzmen to express thoughts and ideas rarely seen in music today or in any other era. He is a unique presence among the so called wordsmith and intellectual rappers and combines his study of religion and high science to create the branch of Lenzmen Street Science.
Lenzmen are a four-man New York based rap group. The Lenzmen have been making songs together for nearly a decade. The name Lenzmen is structured from Lyrically Enhanced Scientists and expresses the creative slant our version of Hip Hop is geared to. Each Lenzmen is designated with a number and a sight description based on his order of origin (when he joined the group) and personality. The Animal/ Insect Totem, among other things like The Alphabet Symbol Chart and The Planetary Alignment Map further establish the Conceptual Square each Lenzmen develops in. We are That Next Thing to inject a whole new sound into the undernourished music industry. The Lenzmen concept is complete in all angles and has far reaching goals beyond the immediate struggle for survival. The industry needs to awaken from its' hibernation and embrace the aLiENZ.

Lenzmen Centri ‘s long awaited first solo album Article 15: The Rebel Knowledge Story is Finally OUT!!!!!
Article 15: The Rebel Knowledge Story. It’s a pro-soldier album that pulls no punches, and it’s the rawest uncut album to date on this subject in the genre of hip hop. It’s a powder keg that captures the angst of every soldier that’s ever had to iron a pair of BDU’s (camouflage uniform), and it should be issued to every soldier with their boots and M-16. Trust me it’s brings forth the TRUTH.

I finally finished up a project I have been working on closely with my homie DJ Trippin' over the past few months. The idea was to take a handful of my freestyles, studio tracks, and b-sides I've recorded over the last year and combine them all to a 1 track mix. All mixing, scratching, and juggling was performed by DJ Trippin'. The effort is available for high quality download by clicking the cover below!
