Following up their successful 2007 EP “Musth”, rock reggae quintet Dodger are back with their new EP “ABombANation”. Produced by Jag Tanna (I Mother Earth), “ABombANation” features 5 hard hitting melodic rock tracks with a strong reggae-ska influence. Deafening power chords, reggae soaked verses and powerful sing along choruses all intensify this new EP.
Since releasing their first EP, Dodger has been busy performing with dates on Warped Tour, Scene Festival, Honda(Molson)Indy, COCA Festival and Wakestock, followed by a tour in Eastern Canada. They have also had the opportunity to share the stage with acts such as Goldfinger, The Mad Caddies, Silverstein, Hot Water Music, Rza and Gza from The Wu-Tang Clan, Finger Eleven, Bedouin Soundclash, Classified, ill Scarlett, Jakalope and The Trews
Along with bands such as Metric and Broken Social Scene, Dodger starred in a one hour episode of “The Rawside of…” - a television series on the International Film Channel showcasing the less-than-glamorous, behind-the-scenes aspects of being in a band. Dodger’s song “Stomp” was selected to be the leadoff track on Big Rock brewery’s “Untapped 2 Compilation,” with 50 000 promotional copies released to the radio and public in Western Canada. Dodger’s been in rotation on college and university stations across Canada, as well as featured on the extremely influential radio station, 102.1 the Edge.
Hungry to spread the fever, Dodger are confident that their strong EP “ABombANation,” combined with steady touring and their ever-increasing fan base, will take their hybrid to the next level.
