I still reckon Oor Wullies 2nd name is Thompson but then again on close scrutinisation of one of my many Oor Wullie books last night I must admit there is a striking resemblance towards PC Murdoch - Doubt Mr Thompson had his suspicions too about what his Mrs had been up to at the policemans ball!!
