General	i would like to see marijuana become legal once again. i love cycling around austin. i dig a cool sunset over the water with a good friend by my side. i would like to see streaking make a comeback. i love hearing and creating comedy. i film bands and concerts when allowed for personal stash. ive got some great stuff. austin restaurants 6th street austin bar austin catering
Music	.. i still headbang hard. i go back to the hard rockin days of black sabbath concerts when they had a few big amps on stage and that was it. it was all about the music. I was a big kiss fan after my 1st concert of theirs in the mid 70's. I still kick on their tunes when the mood strikes. I remember a zz top concert also in the mid 70's and they had a live owl and a big log on stage and four huge amps. that was it. Ive seen zz numerous times but the best show ever was when they played new years eve 12/31/99 in the compact center in houston with lynyrd skynyrd. Amazingly it was the first time ever zz top and lynyrd skynyrd played together. We had good seats and good times. I saw Stevie Ray Vaughan play a lot around Austin. He had a lot to do with where the austin music scene is today. Movies	.. the good the bad the ugly, once upon a time in the west, blazing saddles, new jack city, harlem nights, thoughtcrimes, scarface, fast times at ridgemont high, up in smoke, dazed and confused, the wild life. goin south. I saw up in smoke at northcross mall in austin the very first day it opened way back when. it was great. The theater was packed. .... many other movies that i cant think of at the moment.
Television	.. i watch austin city limits, mad tv, saturday night live and similiar music or funny shows. Music and laughter are two of my favorite things. Its really the only time i watch television unless a good football or basketball game is on. I go to a movie theater when i wish to see a movie. I used to spend way too much time in front of a television until i realized i was missing out on the rest of the world.
Books	.. I love motivational books and i read a lot about the music industry. a couple books im looking at on the shelf now are the business of music marketing and promotions the complete guide to internet promotion for musicians artist and songwriters and is marijuana the right medicine for you ?. I just started reading "how to get good lookin middle age chicks in bed with little or no effort" written by jackson peters.

About me:

I love Austin Texas. I moved here in the late 70's to attend Capital City Trade & Tech and i am not going anyplace. In my own opinion this is the hippest and coolest city in Texas. I moved from a very conservative city (college station tx.) to a very laid back "be who you wanna be" city. The only other place i have ever lived was in the Los Angeles area in the mid 80's. I lived in Long Beach, Anaheim and Santa Ana. I had nothing but fun romping around the west coast but eventually i got homesick and moved back to Austin. The fact that the freeway shootings were in full force also helped in my decision.

I also listen to a lot of old rock music and dream about being Governor of my own tropical island. If i cant have my own island i would like to travel America on a harley someday.

I have seen Austin change a lot over the years but then again all cities do. I cant begin to name all of the good bands and musicians i have seen over the years. From good ole rock & roll at the Armadillo World Headquarters, to the best blues musicians on the planet at Antones Night Club. I also saw Stevie Ray play around town a lot. He was an amazing musician to say the least. The Fabulous Thunderbirds were always a good show. I also saw them quite a few times. I have a lot of great bands and cool Austin music events on video and maybe someday soon i will share them with the world. I filmed antones 30th anniversary at auditorium shores with Clifford Antone mc'ing . I got some fairly good upclose footage.

Who I'd like to meet:
.. I would like to sit under a big shady tree and talk to Willie Nelson for a month straight. You know he has some interesting stories to tell besides the ones in his music. The 1st time I saw a Willie Nelson concert was in the early to mid 70's in my hometown of college station at Texas World Speedway. It was one of Willies first 4th of July picnic's. Could have even been his first. It wasnt long after i moved to austin.
