About me:

This is my personal page. If you are looking for my band, Simon Walsh's Burning Bush, New York's Spunk Rock, the MySpace page is at www.myspace.com/simonwalshsburningbush

I play and teach fretted and fretless electric bass. I read music and charts, and have a great ear and feel. I am always looking to meet and work with other players.

Who I'd like to meet:

Competent musicians looking to play serious music, while having lots of fun doing it. I particularly enjoy smooth-grooving drummers and versatile guitar players. And, oh, yes, I'm a grammar weenie, so this describes WHOM I'd like to meet. ..

    Hey man,

Lovin' your bass playing! The funk song is coming along nicely.

Our buddy Walt Elson laid down some sick vocals!

I'm getting some backup singers in next week.

Keep the low groove going strong...

You're one of my favourite bass players, Simon--one of the best bass players in NYC, for sure! We've had lot's o' fun on stage and in the studio and still haven't killed each other! How many people can say that?

    Love ya, man!
