Bio
An ex-Londoner thirty-something slobbing my life away in commuter belt suburban oblivion. Former bassist for a string of failed London bands since 1998 and amateur studio engineer for several other bands and artists since the early '90s. This will be my first attempt at a solo album even though I find it almost impossible to write songs solo, I can't technically play any instruments and I can't really sing! I haven't even got any complete songs to record yet being too tired and busy with work and family. I just know that I need to express myself musically and I intend to put to use the production skills that I have picked up working with other bands and artists over the last ten years or so to draw something musical out of myself. I shall be uploading the progress of my attempts as and when I can get the studio time. Making music is also a great way to combat depression and make life a little less mundane. To help me out, and to make the project less introspective and narcissistic I am inviting my talented friends and beloved family - all the people who give my life meaning - to chip in with their musical and/or vocal talents. The music will be inspired by the people I work with and by the highs and lows of my own life in recent years. Music is my favourite way of getting close to people, and collaborating on a recording is a bit like having children with them! -

Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. Your eyes are like spheres of crystal water filled with shimmering dreams. You have not yet reached the height of your creativity. So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a volcano in heat. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. Transistors bridge where your vanity would never go. Blinking reveals the true visage of beauty hidden within your eyes.
