I've been around for a while. My name is Stephen Tunney. Everyone calls me Dogbowl. Ive been playing in punk rock bands and experimental pop combos since 1978.
In a nutshell: Founding member of King Missile (dog-fly religion), I'm on the first 2 King Missile records on Shimmy-Disc back in the late 80's. I then made a series of albums for Shimmy-Disc as Dogbowl from 1989 to 1995. I then made some records in France for Lithium Records. I released a Best of Dogbowl compilation on 62TV Records in Belgium. I now generally release things on my own label, called Eyeball Planet. I have toured a lot through the years, with a re-formed King Missile, as Dogbowl, Dogbowl & Kramer, and once I played guitar for Bongwater during their European tour. I have toured in the USA, Europe and Japan. I am also a exhibited painter--the slideshow below gives an Idea of what I've done through the years. Last but not least I am a published novelist, by novel FLAN was published by Four Walls Eight Windows in 1992.
