Previously considered merely a mythological animal like the yeti and the unicorn, Dogcat's first official sightings were not made until 2008 at Barbes and Zebulon, both in Brooklyn.
Although signs of Dogcat have been found in such far away places as Israel, Japan, and the U.S., it is now believed that Dogcat is based in New York City.
