Dog Days formed last year originally as a blues cover band at uni.. but after only a couple of gigs they caught the attention of dave cornthwaite and his record breaking longboard mission across the length of australia (www.boardfree.co.uk). Dave asked them if they would provide the soundtrack for his documentary and from there it all began... given the opportunity to record in a studio their music came alive as they were able to play and record the music they'd always wanted to, all four members of the band being songwriters brought a huge number of different influences and sounds to their music. With 3 different vocalists their sound is varied and easy to listen to... an album to sit back and relax to...

For anyone who hasn't heard me yet, think Bob Dylan meets Eminem and they play a reggae concert in the english countryside... Maybe best to just have a listen huh? :)
Everyone needs to hear these guys - they are very, very talented and producing the sort of chilled out tunes that are up there with Ben Harper, Jack Johnson and Donoven Frankenreiter.
