Originating in Canada, Dog Day is a quartet -two girls and two boys- of those that inspire so much energy to their songs that these finish for being inflamed in our ears. Theirs they are positions in that already distant creative explosion of the indie-rock one American of ends of the 80, that that was convinced to itself, and to millions of fans in all the planet, that two guitars sufficed, low, battery, good voices and ideas to shake fossilized structures. And they comply with all and each one of the requirements, so by force they shake. (rough translation).
Here's a (not so little) story; walking aimlessly around the mall searching for good music and shirts i can hack apart and do something artsy with.. music i am searching for is any Dog Day i can get my hands on, but no such luck. Just as i'm about to escape the florescent lights of a cold mall something in a tiny pencil case bin with a crappy sign reads "Limited one per purchase"; your record Night Group staring me in the face. You were sitting in there with a couple whitney huston records & ..balls of yarn? soo i yelped in excitment and asked the older lady at the counter about the "deal". aparrently it was free with a purchase which i couldn't make for i am..completely broke at this point. but i think she saw the twinkle in my eye & as she said "Sure. take it. If it'll make your day. :) " i thought and said "What are the chances. Thankyou thankyou! :) " so i skipped home and am currently listening to your wonderful tunes. sorry for the long post..but i just want to add, i by a sort of chance ended up at your concert in kingston opening for Attack in Black. Great show :) I hope you enjoy yourselves on the rest of your tour. come around again soon please thanks for making my day! love, ariel
