they say that good guys always finish last
perhaps i gotta be bad and brag as my soul collapses
just to get you to listen, i'm wishing that my vision
lights up your prison like a prism of stained glasses
Well my ministry name is dogfight! and God gave it to me to remind me (and others) of a story i heard some time back. The shortened version of the story is this:
A man had dogs that he fought every weekend. Every weekend he'll come out with two dogs and put them against each other. People from all over the neighborhood came out to watch the dogs fighting. Each time, the owner would tell the people what dog would win the fight. Each time he would be correct. People were amazed at how he could accurately predict the winner of the fights. Finally, after being coerced, he revealed his secret. He knew what dog would win the fights because it would be the dog that he feeds the most. He would feed one dog well throughout the week and not the other. When the two dogs fight, the one that had been fed always won.
The story teaches us about the war that wages in us between the spirit and the flesh. The bible says they are warring against each other. And we know who wins that battle: the one we feed the most. If we spend time feeding our flesh and not our spirit, we're setting ourselves up for defeat. However, if our spirit's being fed and is growing...the Spirit is bound to conquer the flesh. So, who have you fed the most this week?

Who am I to complain my bro - it would be so wrong and so disrespectful to complain after all He has done, ya know! He is so loving and amazing - I can't do anything but speak well of Him! Because of Him I am well! And I am filled with joy!
I'm still a voice in the wilderness crying out! How have you been my friend? Are you still crazy for the Lord?
Hey, I can't complain! The Lord is too good! And I am just full of His joy! Gotta love His joy, ya know! I'm doing great! Its good to hear from ya! How are you living? I pray all is well.....
Surreptitious more like repetitious - spoken to the clandestine seen but not seen in pristine crystaline systems that reveal the truth that is healing to the soul
