   About Doghouse Daddies
The 'Daddies' come from the Kansas City MO area, and have been playing their style of traditional Blues all thru the Midwest. Their first CD is a mix of originals and covers by Muddy, Buddy, Piazza and others. Recorded live in 3 different locations, the music comes thru with great feel. Neil Nolan on Saxaphone and Blues harp, and DHD's Brandon Skeens on guitar allows this 4-piece band to play with authority, with Brian Connett’s solid drumming and bassman Bill Morlan's vocals adding the finishing touch.

I left my snow shovel
in Kansas City
I never thought,
it would snow here.

To be here in these sliding cars
and snowdrifts over tires!
The morning snow does chill the air
I don't care!

My shovel's way back there
in Kansas City
Across the Rocky Mountains high

If I had my shovel,
from Kansas City,
Then I could clear
a path today!

Y'all sounded great at the Bear Creek Blues Fest last weekend. What a great festival! Slater reminds me of the Sax Gordon song "Man, That Little Town Rocks"--more fun per capita than any town I've ever been to.
Hope to play with you guys again sometime soon!
