This painstakingly selected group of pro musicians are here to shake the establishment. Their true-to-the-original approach is unmatched in their performance of Heart's greatest music. An entertaining and talented group who's sound is astonishingly and eerily similar to the artists they pay homage to. This 6 piece ensemble of talented musicians is dedicated to bringing their talent and love of Heart's memorable music of the 70's and 80's to the stage with unequaled accuracy and musical skill. Dog N Butterfly was created in late 2003 by Lead vocalist Lizann Warner. During her 18 year professional career in the music business, Lizanns voice was often and consistently compared to Ann Wilson of Heart. As one of Hearts biggest fans, Lizann always considered these comparisons a great compliment... it was not till later that she realized that perhaps her voice similarities to the famous lady of rock could serve another purpose... thus the idea for Dog and Butterfly was born.

Already working with fellow musicians Sean Clegg, Scott Snyder, and David Pimentel in the O.C. based Top 40 band SUGARBOX, Lizann knew that she was working with some of the best musicians in town... so it was a no-brainer to find the perfect members for Dog N' Butterfly. Once the idea was presented to the band, the wheels of this tribute super group were set into motion!

The dream of Dog N' Butterfly quickly became a reality. Sean Clegg, a pro guitarist for 20 years with a masters degree in guitar performance, became the bands lead guitarist and musical director. Duplicating Howard Leese and Roger Fishers guitar work to perfection! [F.Y.I : Sean produced the bands demo at his own Sonic Vibe studios!]... Scott Snyder, an accomplished stage and studio bassist, captures Hearts hard rock and sometimes funk-like grooves with remarkable expertise. David Pimentel, a professional tour and session drummer, flawlessly plays the rhythms and signature fills that are so recognizable in Hearts music. And, with Lizann's uncanny performance of Ann Wilsons vocals, the critics ears were sure to perk up.

Only two more members were needed to complete the line-up, and the band found them first in Whitney Bridges, a talented vocalist and guitar player whose vocal harmonies and acoustic / electric guitar rhythms beautifully portray that of Nancy Wilsons. And then finally in Phil Wolfe, whose versatility at keys and Moog synthesizer filled in the sonic spectrum.
Another key factor behind this bands accurate portrayal of heart is the vocal blend. The harmonies of Lizann and Whitney are eerily similar to that of Ann and Nancy Wilson. With additional harmonies provided by Sean and Scott, the vocals become a key factor in this band's ability to re-create Heart's recognizable sound!

Hey, Shawn & Kevin from LA’s Rock Cover Band Forever Vinyl wants to invite you down to our Open-Mike Nights. We will be hosting Open-Mike every other Wed in June-July @ Venice Bistro in Venice (5:30-10pm). Right on the boardwalk with tons of foot traffic!. We will also be hosting one EVERY Tuesdays at a cozy venue called Amsterdam Cafe in N. Hollywood (6:30-10pm) starting May 20. Starting Thurs June 5, and every-other Thursday is OM @ It's A Grind Coffee House in Santa Clarita (5:30-8:30) We will provide PA, acoustic guitars, acoustic bass, electric piano, and percussion. Just come on down, sign-in and you'll get to play (atleast) 3-4 songs (original or covers) or 6-10 minutes for comedians.
