We are a four piece band from a town called Pahoa on the Big Island. We started out in early August of 2007 and has been rocking out in our bass players garage ever since. We started as a cover band doing our favorite songs and now we got some kick ass originals we wrote and ready to play them for YOU!
And were called,.... Dogpile and the Geckos
One day when the sun was coming to rest over a town called Hilo, 3 friends had just finished rocking their socks off. Uncertain of where their new found partnership was going to take them they took the sky search for a name and devised the greatest name ever to be conceived by a band.... Dogpile & The Geckos.....
Now you may be asking your self, "WHO THE HELL IS DOGPILE?!?!?!!?!?"

Well anyway back to our story,
Armed with Hilo's finest drummer and surplus of "Whoop-Ass" they storm stages like the soldiers at Normandy.
Screaming guitar, thundering bass, driving drums and ferocious vocals push the band to new heights. Refusing to be chained by conventional norms Dogpile & The Geckos use their various backgrounds of jazz, funk, punk, rock, metal, blues, reagge, classical and more to pave the way into uncharted territories
