DOGS OF BALI is the latest musical sensation to emerge from the Vermont alternative scene that spawned Phish in the 90’s and more recently Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Featuring the songwriting team of Dyan Ondovchik (lead vocals and guitar) and Grant M. Olsen (backing vocals, guitar and keyboards) our debut CD will deliver songs with great melodies, intelligent lyrics and uncompromising grooves courtesy of some of the greatest musicians on the planet including drums and percussion from the legendary Jim Keltner (John Lennon, Bob Dylan), Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Tears for Fears), Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp, Rolling Stones) and Lenny Castro (Toto, Fleetwood Mac). In addition special appearances are made by the amazing bassist Tony Levin (John Lennon, Peter Gabriel) and incomparable vocalist/violinist Shenkar (Shakti, Peter Gabriel).

DOGS OF BALI will be in the UK during November with Tchad Blake (one of the finest engineers on the planet with credits including Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel, Pearl Jam) to finish mixing our upcoming CD release entitled PICASSO’S PARTY which is set to be released in December 2009. Our goal is to give our listeners a collection of beautifully produced and arranged songs with timeless appeal. In addition we are currently in the process of producing the first of several videos with filmmaker Sébastien Paquet (Korn, Jonathan Davis) and look forward to live performances in support of the upcoming CD release. We currently divide our time between Burlington, Vermont and Santa Barbara, California and look forward to making new friends everywhere.
