THE BAND
Dogs On Mars
featured the talents of ex-Belladonna guitarist Darin Scott, vocalist Gerry Schad, bassist Alain Snyder, and drummer "Monster" Mike Merrifield. Formed in the spring of 2001, Dogs On Mars set out to combine the strengths of a loud and aggressive rhythm section, with the melody of three part vocal harmonies.
In the summer of 2002, Dogs On Mars won the chance to open the 7th annual RoadRunner K-Rockathon, alongside such artists as P.O.D., Sevendust, and Puddle Of Mudd.
In 2003, Dogs On Mars released their debut CD and opened the 1st
annual ClearChannels "Bonefest" with 40 Below Summer, Freya, Bully, and Brand New Sin.
Heading into 2005, Dogs On Mars were in pre-production for their next release when they disbanded. Darin went on to join Brace and Monster Mike went on to join One Hard Krank. This page is dedicated to their time together.
