DogStar Catering is a Santa Cruz, California based private catering company focused on delivering innovative cuisine throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. DogStar (formerly Sirius Catering) was born from the five year plus collaboration of chefs Aaron Stahlmann and Josh Sonstroem, their unique style incorporates both elements of global world fusion and molecular gastronomy, all the while maintaining deep roots in traditional European techniques. Oriented towards local, farm-fresh ingredients, and utilizing non-GMO and organic products wherever possible, DogStar is currently developing their first farm-chef partnership and has a cookbook in the works. Specializing in private parties and events ranging from high-end to casual, from exotic meats and seafood to vegan and raw food: tasting menus, weddings, conferences, private and public parties, wine dinners, business lunches, and any other functions or special events. We also offer both personal cooking lessons and public cooking classes upon request.
