Bio
DogState are amongst the few hard rock bands left in London. With appearances at many of the premier clubs in London (including Dublin Castle, Water Rats Theatre and The Barfly), they have shown they can mix things up and be amongst the elite in their genre. It hasn't just been the inhabitants of the capital that have been subjected to the ferocity of DogState's live show as the band have taken to the open road. This is the band's natural surrounding, executing the delivery with a sonic intensity that leaves the audience electrified! The members of the band are all established gigging and studio musicians. For the quartet, it's a way of life which also inspires them by bringing their collective experiences and influences to the music and live performance. Now armed with their debut EP, "War Baby", produced by Pat Collier (The Vibrators, Zodiac Mindwarp, Primal Scream) and with opening track "Colt" receiving airtime, DogState have momentum to see them on to the next level. -

"Start barking because this dog is in a great state" - UBER ROCK
"There is great diversity shown over the four tracks on War Baby. I’ve played it over and over and there are memorable hooks that embed themselves into your brain on first listen, sound better on each play and i’m looking forward to hearing more material from the London based band in 2012. .....10/10!" - PLANET MOSH
"It’s instantly apparent that this is a tight act, doubtless honing their skills with much practice in the assorted sleazy rock bars of London. DogState have set themselves a high standard to maintain. If they keep it up, no doubt they’ll be appearing regularly in classic rock press as a burgeoning new favourite. " - MTUK
" Dogstate are reminiscent of Orange Goblin, with a barrage of full on rock to throw at you whilst remaining just anthemic enough to hook you in on the choruses." - CACK BLABBATH
"DogState give some wailing bow wow to West London with some solid heavy bass lines augmented to flavoursome guitar riffs and luscious tripping vocals sail like glorious sea spray over the top." - Punkvert
