I want to make a difference and I believe in the power of one. I don't think that people should put limits on how much they can do. It takes courage to take chances and try new things but I think it's the right way to go. When I look around I see a lot of things that could be better. Who I'd like to meet:
People and dogs who like getting out there and making a difference. Today, SUNDAY, APRIL 29 you'll find me in JUNIPER VALLEY PARK in Queens enjoying a Mayor's Alliance for Animals event. It runs from noon to 5 PM, mid park near 75 St. The Mayor's Alliance really cares about animals and do everything they can to find them good homes, keep them healthy, and keep them from getting lost. That is why they offer the micro-chipping for just 25 dollars. Thinking of getting a pet? Come out and visit their adoption van- they will have dogs, cats and bunny rabbits! And if you are lucky enough to already have an animal in your life, come over anway so you can talk to the Mayor's Alliance trainer and groomer and get all your questions answered.
