DOINGITLIVE PRESENTS...
doingitlive is dedicated to promoting the great musicians and bands that do it live, week in week out around Sydney's innerwest.
In the past doingitlive has been involved in the production of 2 Australian radio programs, one local, one national, which were dedicated to the Australian Music scenes and the artists who give them breath.
Doingitlive is currently working with award winning director Christopher Haysom on documenting the last 10 to 15 years of the Sydney fringe Suburb of Newtown and the surrounding innerwest, it's people, the music, the arts and the experiences. Filming started in early January 2008 and has been running for close to 14 months so far.

simply put - Venues need $$$$$ to keep things running
- go to live music gigs - pay the door charge so the musos can get paid - free gig? ~ Buy more drinks/food - INVEST IN THE VENUE SO THEY CAN PAY THEIR COSTS (+ at most free gigs the musos are being paid via a cut from the bar!)
> invite your friends, post it to your profile. > if you are a muso/venue/promoter etc - upload your gig posters - ask to be an admin & then you can list your gigs
