Doktor Fuzz are Bob & Boe...or to be proper, a Mr Rob Bennett and a Mr Joseph Allen-Keys. Also to be heard are Guest Harmonies From Miss Angie Keo and Miss Kirsty Treherne and Drumming from the Glorious BFD (unless it's pants, in which case it's Joe being stupid!)
Influences
Vodka, Currys, Sonic Youth, Jeff Buckley, Pixies, Tool, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, Tim Buckley, Nirvana, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Black Sabbath, Helmet, Melvins, Jimi Hendrix, Ray Lamontagne, The Velvet Underground, The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Clint Mansell and OMG ETC ETC!
Doctor Fuzz is, so far, an experimental project. It's been bubbling up for about 5 years and has now finally come together in the form of a few demos, including a cover of Clint Mansell's epic theme from the film Requiem For A Dream...'Lux Aeterna'. The music has been written and recorded independantly with the intention of being released by a full band line-up, eventually. Please put foward your opinions about the music. Postive and negative criticisms are welcome! Thank You!
ay up Rob, had a good listen, Wandering was my favourite, think youve got an interesting sound, not too commercial(which is always good), but still could carve out a niche audience, the drum lines are very realistic, Ive never used BFD, is it a sequencer?did you record the drums and then programme or are they Construction kit's?sounded sweet, any way ive ramboozled enough, hope all's well, tell K I said hello, Ive recently uploaded some new songs on my page would be great to hear your thought's, cheers man, keep in touch+ hit me up if you ever need remixing etc!!
