Bio
....myspace-html-layout.com!......Dollar Store.......... is the outlet that allows Dean, Joe and Alan from the ..Waco Brothers, ..with their friend Tex from the Roughnecks, to let off some hard rock steam. Still roots informed but with a little more wattage, the band plays frequently in their home base, the Chicago area, but have also wandered to the west coast and played to embarrassingly enthusiastic crowds at the CMJ convention in New York and SXSW in Chicago after the release of their self-titled debut CD on Bloodshot records. ..No doubt due to fear of full scale Dollarmania, drummer Joe Camarillo thoughtfully allowed himself to be hit by a car just after the second album was completed in 2005. By sacrificing his body, he allowed the band to avoid the trappings of stardom for nearly two years. ..With Joe fully healed, and ..Bloodshot Records.. anxious to recoup their significant investment, the release of the second album was scheduled for August 16th, 2007- one day before Dean's third 39th birthday... With no more excuses, the path to glory seems unavoidable. -
