DOLLFACE is an original alternative rock band. Rebecca Kane, a former Canadian model with the nickname, “Dollface”, throws herself into all her songs with heart and conviction. Her lyrics border dangerously close to reading her diary. Dollface has gained quick popularity, amidst a following of loyal fans that identify with her interesting views and harsh lyrical imagery. She swoons them by dripping her songs with breathy vocals, contrasted with a hard-edge. She admits her writing is therapeutic, airing out her own personal skeletons for the world to hear. She has been referred to as a hybrid between Courtney Love and Tori Amos.
Dollface already has two CD’s out, “The Poisoned Apple: Unplugged” and “Good Girl Gone Bad”. She is currently working on her third album which is entitled, “The Revenge of Dollface”.
