I am a at
home mom with a Three Children 7 year old, 19 Month, and a 10 Month old son. I fell in love making these OOAK
Reborn dolls. I take a lot of time and care in each and every one. My OOAK
Reborns are born in a clean, loving, smoke free environment.
If you would like a custom baby please feel free to email me. I will let
you know if I can work one in. Just keep in mind I like to try to keep one
doll on a week and they are very time consuming to make. |

Reborning is the art of taking a factory made doll and turning it into a
One Of A Kind (OOAK) life like baby. It's a long, detailed process that
takes vision, patience, passion and talent. (OOAK is a reborn artist's
personal promise that there is no other baby/doll exactly like the one up
for auction here.) I start all of my babies at $1.00 No Reserve to make
them affordable for everyone. This does not reflect on the quality of my
work! I use only the best materials on them all. |

The first step is to give these precious OOAK Reborn babies there very
first "color wash" bath to give them the most realistic newborn
skin coloring with a lifelike glow! I will continue it until I get just
the perfect complexion. Next the OOAK Reborn baby's nostrils are carefully
sculpted . Each OOAK Reborn baby is hand painted and blushed to
perfection, not a single little roll or crease is missed! Each little
fingernail and toenail has been tipped with a soft white and finally
sealed with a glossy finish. |

Each OOAK Reborn baby is given a head full of PREMIUM HAND ROOTED mohair
from Germany. This is the most time consuming process but is so well worth
the outcome. I have gotten so many good comments on my hand rooted mohair.
Each little strand is rooted with a very tiny needle for that "micro
root" look! their hair literally looks as though it is growing right
out of its scalp! The hair is rooted in the direction of natural hair
growth and even has a crown at the top the head. It can be washed, brushed
and styled! They also been given eyelashes and most have barley there
eyebrows. |

Each OOAK Reborn baby body has been replaced with a higher quality custom
body made by Cathie Lee's Doll hospital. Cathie makes one of the BEST
bodies for these OOAK Reborn babies! They have been given full vinyl
limbs which allows for numerous clothing options or Partial vinyl limbs
which allows for numerous poses! They all get fully weighted
including arms and legs and head using sand, pellets and polyfill for
their body, These OOAK Reborn Babies wear infant size 0-3 months clothing.
