About me:
Twenty odd years ago as a 6 year old little girl I sat at my grandmothers on a Saturday afternoon, being Ballarat it was typically grey and rainy, one day i turned to my nan and said‘I’m Bored’. I had no idea that what she did next would shape the rest of her life! ‘Here, sew’ she said, and i did.....I started sewing out of boredom but now I design and sew out of passion. My days are filled with thoughts of fabrics, trim, silhouettes, textures, Thierry Mugler and Alexander McQeen. Taking inspiration from historical fashion, fairy tales and film, I use modern fabrics as well as the concepts that lurk in the darkest reaches of my mind to create, things of beauty. My mission is wearable glamour. To express externally what’s going on inside.
