I like lots of different music. Currently playing in "Rockslide", a Classic Rock band, covering a wide variety of 70s and 80s rock. Love all kinds of music played on the ukulele.
Here is a new version of Touch based on Jake's recent YouTube video performance from the Bellyup Tavern. Played on my custom Wahine Po..o Glyph tenor ukulele.
Touch
Primarily a self taught guitarist I discovered the magic of the ukulele on a vacation to Kauai. My fascination with the 4 stringed instrument led me on a search for ukulele songs in tablature format. Five years ago there wasn't much TAB available for uke so I decided to transcribe ukulele music on my own and make it available for others to learn. The result of this quest is Dominator Ukulele Tabs.
One of my biggest influences has been Jake Shimabukuro and when I saw his video performance of While My Guitar Gently Weeps on Midnight Ukulele Disco I knew I had to figure it out.
Last evening I collaborated with Hawaiian musician Kirby Keough on Dennis Kamakahi's "Wahine Ilikea". Kirby has a beautiful voice and does a wonderful job on this tune. Hope you enjoy it.
